Who we are

Planet Crust and @Human are trademarks of Crust Technology Limited, a company registered in Ireland with registration number 644181. Crust Technology Limited is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

This policy covers this website. @Human itself is software that organisations run on their own infrastructure; the personal data inside a customer's @Human installation is controlled by that customer, not by us.

What we collect and why

Forms on this website

When you send one of our forms we collect the details you enter and a note of which button or page you came from, so we can answer you properly:

• Book @Human Walkthrough: name, work email, organisation, role, sector, preferred date and the use case you want to explore, to arrange and prepare your walkthrough.
• Estimate your token savings: name, work email, organisation, the process you describe, run volume, AI provider and spend range, to prepare your estimate.
• Not-for-profit free build application: organisation name, registration number, country, your name, email, role, who you serve and what you would build, to assess your application.
• Plan your @Human pilot: name, work email, organisation, role, organisation size, timeline and the system you would pilot, to plan next steps with you.
• Ask your own question: name, email, organisation (optional) and your question, to reply.
• Early access reservation: the plan you choose, name, email, organisation, country and what you plan to build, to keep your place in early access. No payment details are collected and nothing is charged.
• Newsletter: your email and, optionally, your first name, to send you news about @Human.

Each submission is emailed to our team and stored on this website so it can be followed up, and you receive an automatic confirmation email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and how you arrived. Some of this uses cookies; see our cookie policy.

Spam protection

To keep forms free of spam, the content of a submission, your IP address and browser details may be checked by Akismet and Google reCAPTCHA.

The website assistant

The "Talk to me" assistant is an AI chatbot. What you type is sent to our @Human platform, operated by Planet Crust, which uses an AI model from Mistral AI to write the replies. Answers are generated automatically and may not always be accurate.

If you share your name, email or details about your organisation in the chat, the assistant may save them, with a transcript of the conversation, as an enquiry for our team to follow up. If you ask to talk to a person, a colleague may join the conversation.

Legal bases

Under the GDPR we rely on:

• Steps before a contract, when you ask for a walkthrough, estimate, pilot plan, application or reservation.
• Legitimate interests, to answer questions, run and protect this website, prevent spam and understand how the site is used.
• Consent, for the newsletter and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and respond to you, under contracts that require them to protect it:

Our marketing automation (Mautic) runs on our own infrastructure at marketing.planetcrust.com. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries and requests are kept while we are in contact with you and for as long as you remain an active prospect or customer, and then deleted or anonymised. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Statistics are kept in aggregated form.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed;
• have your data erased, in certain circumstances;
• restrict or object to how we use your data, in certain circumstances;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use.

We answer requests within one month. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described in our cookie policy, where you can also find out how to control them.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you without undue delay.

We keep this policy under review and publish any changes on this page, with the date it was last updated. This website is a pre-release, so this policy may be updated as the site develops.
